In progress of modifying an RG350

I bought a cheap RG350 just to test a couple of things on it. Now I wanted to test to modify it to a "chromeboy"
I'm just in the beginning of the progress now, but here is a couple of pictures of what I have done so far, I think it can be pretty cool when it's done
There is alot of work left to do, I'll install an abalone binding around the body to hide the edge of the mirror plastic etc.
It's hard to take any decent pictures of the guitar with my camera, but when I'm done with the guitar I'll borrow another camera to take better pictures.

In another thread you can see when I darkened the rosewood fretboard of this guitar and another one.

Looks well mate.

Thats very shiny, you will have to handle it with cotton gloves all the time.

Chrome pickups?

How do you mirror the body? It looks really good. Sims custom shop has a chrome paint with lacquer put over top to simulate the chrome boy. Might be an option for my 350 as well. Make sure you post pics when this is done! good job

We do not use lacquer, we use urethane

First I did a template of 1mm transparent polystyren plastic, then I used the template on the Mirror Plexi (2mm). Then I used a scroll saw to cut out the body from the mirror plexi.
