I think they have the starting price too high. The Bay can be a weird place. I have seen items listed for a reasonable buy it now price not sell get re-listed as an auction and sell for substantially more than what the buy it now price was. If I was the seller I would take it off and re-list it with a lower starting price. Another thing is the economy sucks and things just aren't selling very well.
