Is there something wrong with this RG?
110433275605
Title says it all. This thing has been on the bay for like a month now. I figured that it being in such good shape, and with the original edge trem, it would have been gone quick.
Is there something inparticular that is putting people off from this guitar? Is it the price mabe? I have seen other guitars on the bay that are not even in as good shape go for more and sold pretty quickly. Just wondering... seems kinda odd.
thanks.

Logo is weird, certainly not original, the rest looks normal...

He got the year wrong too, it's a 1989.

The Serial on the back of the headstock looks like one of those fake decals you can buy. Plus the Nez logo on the front looks awful imo.

The S/N looks exactly like the one on my RG750VP.

the logo looks normal except for the extra swoosh besides it... anyway my best guess is that the guitar is an 99 570...

Re: Is there something wrong with this RG?
Pinto79 got it right..it is an 89 570..the color is consistant with that year, the ser# starts with a 9...as for the extra swoop, if you look closely in the closeup of it, it looks to be a slightly different color..I could be wrong, but that's what I see...someone just added it...the rest looks right.

yes, someone's added a homemade extra swoosh, but the rest of the logo is original.

Re: Is there something wrong with this RG?
yeah its identical to the 570 i just bought, looks like upgraded pups too, not the standard v7s1v8 pups, unless they are very worn.
You say its expensive? i think its bang on, for the UK anyway, my 570 just cost me £245 or $389 (at the current exchange rate)

Don't forget we get comprehensively ripped off over here, so it will seem like a good price.

Re: Is there something wrong with this RG?
I've shared that sentiment from time to time, but then I honestly can't think of anywhere else I'd like to go.
Top contenders would be
Canada: Too Cold. Also Bears could be an issue.
US: Nice scenery, people are far too friendly for a miserable git like me.
Australia: Great weather, but the spiders are so big the have health bars -
New Zealand: Maybe, just Maybe.

Standard pickups for a pre-1992 570 would be V1 S1 V2 although I wonder if those are really different. Anyway the Japanese made pickups weren't labeled (or named) before 1990 so they it sure is possible they're stock.
