Is this possible?

An Ibanez model that ISN'T available in the US, but IS available in Australia?

Look at the US models:
http://www.ibanez.com/ElectricGuitars/home

Then go to http://www.ibanez.com, go to the Australian site, and look at the products list there.

Notice how there's one called "DN"?

They're called the Darkstone series, and as far as I've seen, the US doesn't have them, but Australia does.

I was once told that there would never be an Ibanez available in Australia that wasn't in the US first.

lol this Darkstone isn't a big deal to me because of that... I probably wouldn't get one.

I just thought I'd post it because a few members have bagged the Ibanez line in Australia for some time and go on about how "the US has WAAAY more models available."

There have long been differences in what's available in different areas of the world. Basically the region gets what ever that area's distributer thinks will sell, so the UK gets different things from mainland europe, which gets different things from the USA or Australia or Japan.

I just bought all the Euro samples HUSA had in inventory. Not my smartest move, I've been spending the whole day trying to make room for them, and it'll take at least another day ;/
