Re: It came today

yeah it has a F2 but im not sure if i ike it or not yet, im a diehard X2N user, i have a ibanez RG2EX2 with one a '88 jackson Rhoads (usa made san dimas) with one and a Brian Moore i2000 i8 with one. its just such a ballsy pickup, any over recomendations for a **passive** bridge pick up is wanted though

S-series are growing on me.... the equivalent RG (spec-wise) would have cost $200-400 more... great find!

how does it sound? how does it play?

If your primary is an X2n the only that compares in output is the duncan invader, and even then they sound very different. THe F2 is a good pickup for someone not wanting extreme over the edge pickups which the x2n is.

It's because of that 22/24 fret difference! If only they made a production 24 fret s-series!!!! (like that mick thompson one!)
