I know that one well. Ibanezrules.com has is an excellent collection of USA catalogs but no Japanese or European ones.

I'm trying to identify a specific guitar that I can't find in the USA catalogs. Maybe you guys can help. Here are the details:

2002 RG Model
Mahogany body
Quilt maple top
White binding around body
2 hum, V7/V8, direct mount to body
Edge Trem
Instead of the normal blade p/u selector switch, it has a 3-way Les Paul type switch

Basically, it looks like a RG520QS but with white binding around the body and a Les Paul type 3-way pickup selector switch.

Anybody have a clue what this is?

Re: Japanese and European Ibanez Catalogs ?

To support nuno's post, from my experience, the US catalogs are the same with the Europeans. I came to that conclusion after checking ibanezrules. The catalogs I got in Greece (from 1998 till now) are the same with the US.

Re: Japanese and European Ibanez Catalogs ?

The catalogs we get in Poland are quite different than US. I don't know if they're Japaneese or European. But they're printed in Japan.

I found it on page six of my 2002 cat. There is Dexter Holand on this page. Is it the same Catalog, that you have Nuno?

The RG2620QMSP is european edition, but it was replaced with baswood RG2620 cubed blue and black finnish. You may be able to fing old stock on some internet shops in europe.

Re: Japanese and European Ibanez Catalogs ?

Thanks a lot guys. I found one of these RG620's here in the USA with a beautiful red quilt maple top and white binding. What do you think this guitar is worth?

edit: Here it is, just found this:

What is the "ultra" neck ?

This guitar became the RG2620 with the blue "cubed" finish in 2003 and made it to the USA.

Re: Japanese and European Ibanez Catalogs ?

I agree, that is RG620 QM.
We also have it here in asian market.
In 2002, the catalogue says that the body material was NATO, isntead of mahogany.

then in 2003 they changed it into mahogany. and now it has 'prestige' tag on it also.
