Re: JEM333 and PGM3 on Ibanez 2005 catalog (for the 3rd world I think) (pics)

I'd probably take the pickups out and block the trem. I'm not gonna get an RG3** because I'd be taking a step backwards for no reason. What I have lernt, is that if something is a signature model (regardless of how low it is) somebody is always in line to buy it should you need to sell it on, so I may pick one up if I find one going cheap

How much is it going in your area? I mean the 333's price, selling price here is at MYR 1800 (approx. 473.68usd)

In truth I think it's still quite expensive with it's lousy trem and pups, ibanez should know better than to put in the ILT1 trem into a signature, at least put in em edge3

Back in the old days, senor pablo used tremolos for quite sometimes in the RG7xx/PGM30 but eventually it gets in his way. He also said himself that he liked simplicity and to do vibratos/bends with his own fingers. So he had it blocked with wood, later on, the mass production of a new fixed PGM came out.

if you go to the ibanez web page, you can find those models in the countries that ibanez hasn't a big part of market...
you know central america, some south america countries... some asiatic countries, europe too...
i have the same catalog and the pg3 looks great... just change the tremolo and there you go!!!

I know this is a little old thread but if anyone is still interested I see on the Ibanez site that the Jem Jr comes with a edge 3 tremolo now.

I'm sure you all are aware of this by now but I thought I might just shout it out.

I remember a store in Kuwait actually had a red jem333, and one of those PGM3s in blue and pink. They both played like balls and were never tune. Ever.

The 555 is has been discontinued in even more countries since the start of this year and it's had the EIII for years.
