JPM Ibanez

Is there anyone around here who owns a Petrucci sig Ibanez (JPM model)? What's it like to play? Does it feel similar to, say, an RG?

Re: JPM Ibanez

Shape is the same, contros are better placed (but thats personal taste), and the neck is thicker than a wizard, but more narrow at the nut...

The one i had played awesome...

They are a total joy to play!!! I love them they are fantastic gutars in every way, playability, looks, sustain, control placement, etc... buy one if you have a chance it will be the best guitar you will ever own IMHO. Check mine:

Hey OLIE! Those are awesome!!! P2 is just fantastic and that P1 replica is very nice too. I once played P4 which was one of the best guitars I've ever played. Light weight and really nice feeling guitar.

Thanks, the p1 replica is my best project guitar, I actually have the top painted
so no stickers to worry about, it has a tone zone in the bridge position and a humbucker from hell in the neck position, it has a lo pro edge trem too, I really love the way it plays and looks if I could get a prestige neck like the orinal ones in the JPMs then I could finish making it just like the real deal other than that is one hot guitar to play...
