JPM-P1 murder

Ok... so this guy sands a JPM-P1, paints it white and puts some black Picasso graphics on it.
Not sattisfied, he also sanded the headstock, painted it white and put the black "tick" Ibanez logo on it.

I am... speechless!

Re: JPM-P1 murder

it's kinda nice actually....
but If i was him, I'll leave the P1 alone, and buy some RG whatever, paint it picasso graphic and that's it... wait a minute...!
I've done this before.. I did it on my RG 270 DX, put picasso graphic black-white-grey camo composition with black as the base.

Its like stripping a PMC and painting it yellow cause you wanted a DY...

Not the worst thing I've ever seen but not the best either. Some things are either best left alone or left to a professional.

No, not bad overall. Bad is ruining a rare axe!
Almost like wrecking a Ferrari to make it look like a Porsche. Both excellent cars, but each in its place.

If your going to **** with a guitar's body at least make sure it's a relatively common production model. He could of just as easily done that with a cheap $150 Ibanez off of e bay.
