Just got a GR520QS Ghostrider Series
It's a nice guitar, carved alder top, set neck, beautiful inlays. The guy put in
locking tuners
, I have no F'n clue how these work, they make string changes absolute hell. There's a flat spaced screw on the top of the tuners, but then you have to turn the base of the screw the opposite direction that you would turn if you were tuning the guitar!!!
Anyways, it came with the original hardshell case, it's in very good condition with some light scratches, and the damn electronics don't work!!! I'll have to get a new jack and 3 way switch, but all in all for 220 bucks, I couldn't say no.

Re: Just got a GR520QS Ghostrider Series
Locking tuners require no wraps. How do they make tuning hell? They make tuning easier...they're pretty much the same styled tuner that PRS now uses. Way easy. Simple. When you're ready to change strings...first detune the string, then use a coin to unlock the post...replace the string and pull the new one thru so it's taut, then use the same coin to lock the post (tighten it), do not start turning the peg until you lock the string down, once you have the post tightened then tune up to pitch. Locking keys are the best thing ever, I've had sperzels or schallers on pretty much all of the guitars I've owned save for my Prestige in the last 5 years or so, and the PRS styled ones as well...they make for easier changes since you don't need to waste string lengths with wrapping...

Those are Gotoh locking tuners, and can be a pain if you are not used to them.
Check this for some help.

Thank you all for your explanations, I'm still a bit troubled, but the strings are on, so I'll have another go at it, when these strings wear out. The good news is that I rewired the guitar and VOILA!!! it's working! No feeling is greater than having electrical issues, then rewiring, and the moment of truth: The damn thing works!!!
This guitar is great, kind of bright, but I have vintagey pickups in them so it sound awesome. A great Korean made guitar. It is very crunchy. I am so glad I picked this baby up. The neck is so straight it's almost too straight, I heard it's ideal to have a slight bow in the neck, this thing is straight as an arrow.
Anyways, thanks guys!

That heel looks like it should or could be carved out. Sexy guitar.
