Lo-TRS II replacement for s470???

I recently obtained an older s470 qs that came with a lo-trs II trem. I've heard numerous people explaining how horrendous the lo-trs II was so I'm considering an upgrade. I really like the edge bridges but I've heard that aside from routing (which I wouldn't mind doing) that the post spacing is different. lo-trs has 74 mm while edge pro's have 73mm?
does a half millimeter on each side make that much of a difference? since one of the knife edges is totally straight and not rounded might it still fit barely?

No offense intended, but if you do a search you may find a lot of threads on replacing lo-trs II trems. This has been discussed many times before.

Gotoh licensed Floyd Rose - go get it! Locking studs too so take the time to replace the LO-TRS II studs and anchors.

I got a schaller floyd rose from Stewmac. solid brass block really really really improves the sound of the guitar and it holds tuning like nothing else i know! plus it just drops into the cavity of the Low TRS II, so no mods needed which is good if your a menace with electric tools.
