Looking for good & affortable acousitc guitar!

i've read some reviews for the Ibanez AEF18 and AEF30
some people say the AEF30 sounds bad unplugged... and the AEF18 sounds better unplugged?
i want an acoustic that sounds good unplugged (of course i want it sounds good plugged in too) but mainly unplugged
i dont have $1000+ for a Martin or Taylor
any suggestions?

I bought a Ibanez AEG 10 about a year or so ago & I've been fairly happy with it.

Now mind you I don't gig with it & there's a pretty good chance I wouldn't know a good acoustic tone if it was jammed squarely in my ass (I'm a shredder eh...) but it records pretty decent & I enjoy playing it at home.
The Fishman pickup is decent...

Those are pretty cheap, like under $300.
The acoustic guitarist in my band has an Ibanez acoustic, one of the Mesa series with the piezo & the magnetic pickup, that totally kicks ass for a pretty cheap guitar.

Anybody played the Talman acoustics?
Are they worth a crap?

Those two are the only real acoustics I've messed around with.
I'm just not much of an acoustic guy I guess...

ive heard nothing but absolute rave reviews about the Ibanez AW200VV im planning to get one soon... supposed to be an ubelivable bang for the buck beating out lots of martins and taylors over twice the price in sound and looks, and playability. 400 bucks

thanks for the opinions guys
i actually LOVE the looks of the AEF18 and AEF30
also i'm considering the AW series too...
ok, about the seagull, i've heard a lot of good things about it
where can i buy one from? i've never seen one in any Sam Ash or Guitar Center...
and also which Seagull model tends to be the most popular?
thanks
