Looking for old RG catalog scans - RG1200 and RG570 sparkle.

Hello,

I was looking for catalog scans for the RG1200 and any of the RG5xx sparkle finishes.

I have scans of some of the RG5xx sparkles that someone posted a while back (thanks!), but they don't look like the catalog scans.

I think the RG1200 was back in '92 or so. *I have the '93 catalog and don't see it in there, so it must be '92 or '94. *As I've been told, the RG5xx's with the sparkle finishes were in '96 and/or '97.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
BoB

I was the one that posted those pics. One of them was a 97 Catalog scan of the green sparkle, the others were just misc. scans.
I have some misc pics of the 1200, but no catalog scans. I'm not even sure if it ever appeared in a catalog. I believe they came out in 97 acutally. There's one on **** right now, I'll e mail the guy for a serial # to confirm the year.

I've got the RG1200 in the 1992-93 catalog. I have all the '90's but 1992, so I could pro'ly come up with the sparkle finish RGs as well. I wouldn't be able to do the scan before next week, tho'. Email me if that's cool.

Interesting. *I've got the '93 catalog in front of me. *I see the RT1200, but not the RG1200 (the RT has a different trem, among other things). *When you say the '92-'93 catalog, do you mean the one that says '92 on the front, or the one that says '93?

BTW, I'm the bidder on the RG1200 on ****. *I hope I get it, I recently sold a few axes to try to buy Glen's PMC, but fell short. *I really need a player now

Thanks for all the info guys!

BoB

Ok, so I was wrong about the 97 thing. I was just trying to remember from another **** auction a couple of months ago. The seller was probly wrong anyway.

I think they made a joint 92-93 catalog at one point, and if I remember, it's the one with the an RG 770 on top of the world.

F1XXXXXX
So I guess that makes sense that it'd be in the 92-93 catalog. I always thought the 1200 was more of a 12 or 24 off. Guess not.

Bob--

I saw that auction close and was left thinking, "D@#$, that's a steal for a 1200!" I have a 1200TR and I love it. It plays really nice--what can I say... I'm a sucker for bound fretboards. Mine has since been hot-rodded with evolutions & a blue velvet.

Congrats!

bob ~ in case you're wondering, the catalog lists a DiMarzio PAF in the neck, an IBZ/USA C3 in the middle, and a Tone Zone in the bridge... Split 5 wiring, abalone oval inlays, basswood body w/ FM top, Lo-Pro Edge, available in TR or TB (guess you got the TR :-)

glen ~ I'll put the catalog scan I promised bob up on the uploads area Monday or Tuesday... there's no real hyperbole tho' - just a pic of the RG1200TR and the specs (along w/ RG7xx series specs) and a shot of eric turner and joey allen of warrant...

Catalog scans for the RG1200 are up in the uploads area Glen has so generously provided us with.

http://209.25.234.11/fileman/

There's a large jpeg and a smaller one - the detail's a little better in the big one but anyone with a slow connection will get basically the same thing in half the time with the smaller file... Both scans are from the 1992-93 catalog.
