Re: Looks like a RG570 but reverse headstock???
there is no way it's a RGR1570.
RGR 1570 is prestige, all recipe is wrong compared to the one at the picture.
Okay..
There are RGR 470, RGR 480, RGR 570, and RGR 580 that 'almost' match to the picture.
RGR 470 and RGR 480 : both Asian model only and Japan model only.
both : resoncast, V6F humbuckers, RTS single, EDGE tremolo, AANJ, sharktooth.
BUT : neck type is slightly different... RGR 470 has W2 meanwhile RGR 480 has Wizard ori OR W2 neck.
BUT : RGR 470 has pickup ring, RGR 480 direct mounted
BUT : RGR 480 mostly comes with flame maple veneer, RGR 470 mostly solid color.
BUT : RGR 470 matching color headstock, RGR 480 plain black.
I have found and owned : RGR 480 with original wizard neck, solid color finish and matching headstock ( white pearl) , that I think it's special japanese store order.
Now I have in my possesion RGR 480 with veneer maple top, Wizard 2 neck, resoncast body.
not a special store model, it's just a normal japan only model , can be found in japan catalogue.
Now, RGR 570 , appears on 99 European cataloge, the recipe :
basswood, super wizard with bubinga stripe, sharktooth, edge, V series pickups w/ rings, matching color headstock.
RGR 580, another japan only model : mahogany, wizard 2 neck, maple board, matching color headstock, edge, V6F humbucker, RTS single.
So, which one is yours?
The only way to find out is looking at the stamp on the neck joint and neck.
if you asked me, I will say :
It's RGR 480 with refinish body to white and pickups been changed too.
So.. I'm saying ; MAYBE.. it's RGR 480 with some mods.
