maple fingerboard for RG 470/570

I have 2 RG 470s and a 570 on the way. I'd like to try a maple fingerboard, and I notice those are scarce. What are my best options?

Will a 550 neck work with/out significant mods? I see 550s with maple f/boards.

I did a search herein and saw some mention of having a luthier take a rosewood fingerboard off a neck and replace it with a maple.

The MIJ 400 series, and all the 500 series necks are interchangeable provided the neck joints are the same. Finding a maple fretboard on anything MIJ other than the 550 can be a challenge, but they are out there.
