Matching 6 and 7 string models?

Hi,
Unless I'm missing something Ibanez don't make a pair of guitars with matching 6 and 7 strings necks apart from the RG321 and RG7321 - problem is neither of them has a trem.

Is there a way to get a 6 string with a trem and a 7 string (with or preferably with a trem) that have matching necks (binding, dots, inlays etc)?

Thanks
John

I don't think they make what you're looking for. Closest match I can think of is the 1570 and 1527, but the finishes are not exactly the same. No binding, either.

1570 and 1527 of course they would do - I'm looking for a pair that have matching necks, although ideally I'd like an RG321 with a trem to go with an RG7321.... I was hoping there might be a 6 string with a simliar style neck to the RG7321 but I think not.
oh well.

I think that the J Custom RG8320 and RG8327 are 6 and 7 string versions, respectively, of the same specs - biker black finish, edge pro tremolo, EMG pickups, rosewood fingerboard, 5 piece neck and alder body.

The biggest problem might be availability and price.

Re: Matching 6 and 7 string models?

For what I have in mind the cheap 7 string rg7321 would be fine but as it has abound neck getting a 6 string with trem to match is the problem - a shame there isn't an rg321 with trem that would be perfect.

and those J Customs look great - way beyond the budget for this project though.
Cheers
John
