Matt Bachand signature!

Hey!

I have had my eyes on this new Sig for longtime now, cuz it's pretty much what I want!

I have played some RGA's, and I love the Gibraltar bridge on those ones and the lines of the body is just perfect.. but this MbM Sig looks just so much better, and it haves EMG's just as I want... and it's Black, and that graphic looks really good, and just a Volume knob and 3way P-up selector!

So my questions is..

What do you guys think about it?
Are some of you intrested in it also?
Is this going to be avalible here in Sweden?
How much will it cost?

It doesn't matter what we think about it, its what you think about it.

Its just a black RGA, with EMG's and a graphic, so you pretty much know what your getting, especially if you have played an RGA before. Its MIJ, so you wont have any worries regarding build quality. Go for it.

And I would say it will be available everywhere in Europe.

Yeah looks cool, RGA, EMGs.etc but I've never got to try either an RGA or a guitar with real, active EMGs in.

Personally, I wouldn't get it, mainly because of the graphic. That's just me though.

I'll 3rd that sentiment. Maybe if the graphic was a bit more subtle, I wouldn't mind it as much.

I just wonder... do you think I would go away cheaper just getting one of the Old RGA's for a good price, paint it black and get some EMG's for it?

Unless you really, really need it to be black, I wouldn't even paint it. Matt Bachand uses a standard RGA121 in Violin Flat most of the time anyway. All you have to do is put EMG's in it, and your done. You would save quite a bit of money if you do it that way.

Thats how I would do it anyway. Just makes more sense.

Yeah... If I find a Violin Flat model, I wont paint it.. just put EMG's in it!
.. but if I would find the other model for a good price, I would probably sand it down a bit and fix a Trans-black finish on it or something!

But I will have to wait and see how's the price is looking at the MbM here in sweden when it comes... if it's "Off-Limit" in price range, I will probably go with a RGA121 with EMG's

Yeah, it was hilarious when he was promoting the RGA through the video on the Prestige website. He said that his was just slightly different than the stock model. Just some EMGs and a thru-neck.

I dont know if the MbM is Neck-Thru.. it dosent stand anything about it on the website.. but I dont really care if its Bolt-on or Neck-thru!

Pretty sure it's not a neck-thru...Ibanezrules didn't mention it in the NAMM descrip. of it.

I like the offset dots and the graphic doesn't bother me. However $1500-1600 street price is a bit of a hit in my wallet. But if I really digged Bachand I'd probably get one used.
