Maxxas MX-2

Had hoped this economic crisis would bring some more "rare" Ibby's out of the wood works.

Seen prices dropping, but no real bump-up in supply of my most-wanted list.

Did add very nice black Maxxas MX-2 to the collection today.

All she needs now is good clean and a new set of strings.

Re: Maxxas MX-2

It's currently awaiting a good fretboard clean, a fret polish, and a new set of strings.

After this it will join the rest of the Maxxas stable.

The Maxxas is an acquired taste.

Re: Maxxas MX-2

I'm very sure about my thoughts on this guitar: I like it a lot, but I like my MX-3 better.

I'm guessing you already have an MX-3, so any thoughts on how the two compare would be interesting.

Re: Maxxas MX-2

Mx-2 has some more meat to it, as it lacks the tone chambers. With the Edge it's a nice combo.
Has more punch. The Mx-3 is more subtle.

Just like the Maxxas in general.

If I only could get my hands on a MX-5.

Me, too!

(Sorry for the necropost, but maybe this informs Jemmm that his PM box is full and my message bounced back...)
