I don't know what current market values on the Maxxas models are, but they've definitely got scarcity happening on the side of the seller. There will probably be quite a few people here (including myself) that would express great interest in it if/when you do decide to sell it.

trying to scare up funds for a used uv777bk (black w/pyramids). i know the maxxas isn't worth 900 (which is what the uv's seem to go for) but i'd like to get as close as possible. any offers will be considered...thanks tcs

The last couple I saw sell on ebay (reserve met, sold) was $305 and $420 something. They generally don't sell for a whole lot from what I've seen, but are fairly scarce. I have seen some rediculous prices being asked but no takers.

In that condition that's an offer you should jump on.

Just IMHO, don't let anybody have the guitar until it is paid off (if you let him do payments). *I have had these buyers before who want you to send them the guitar and they'll send you payments. *Not that they are crooks or anything, but it is a problem waiting to happen. *I'd rather take a bit less in a straight sale than do payments. *BTW, where can I find pictures of these guitars? *I have never seen one.

I sold mine for $520 and it took a LONG time to sell - and it was MINT! I think they're almost worth about what they sell for, but if it wasn't for the original Vai connection they probably wouldn't even get that...

A good Maxxas should do nothing less than $600. It's worth it. And don't sell it...

That's not an opinion shared by the people that would actually spend the money.
