I've got to agree. That's definitely a 'fixed-edge' bridge, no doubt about it. I really wish you could buy the fixed-edge as a separate unit, like you can with the trem-bridges(lo-pro,edge-pro etc.). I think they'd work great in the context of 'hard-hitting' type guitar playing. The (ex)guy from Fear Factory (Dino Cazares) uses a seven-string version of the same bridge to great effect.

Re: Mick from Slipknot + new Ibanez

Im david from www.pulseofthemaggots.com and one of my friends saw them last night and asked for specs
Mahogony body w/neckthru mahogony neck w/ebony fretboard with SEVEN on frets 1-5
Fixed Edge
EMG 81/60 combo
volume
3 way switcher for pickups

he has no intentions on releasing a signature model right now after being with the company for almost a year(he was under contract to play BC until after the jager tour). He pretty much has a signature model...just not sold to the public.

he has 11 custom Ibanez guitars right now after signing with them including his Ozzfest main guitar in black RG

Re: Mick from Slipknot + new Ibanez

That funny I was thinking Mick's head has outgrown that mask myself. It's a cool mask but it needs to be one size bigger,,,tight jeans and mask went out in the 80's
I heard somewhere that Mick has no use what so ever for 7 string guitars. Oh well, them 6 six's he has are all pretty damn sweet. Does anyone know what he ended up doing with all the Bc Rich's he had? I love to get one of them.....
