Modify block neck joint to AANJ?

I know Vai did it with Flo, and I would love to do it to my RG20th since I'm never gonna be able to sell it.
Anyone know where I can get this done?

Hey Smitty...I have a nice 570 I will trade you for that...AANJ, edge, wizard 1, it is grey metallic, I think it is a 2000 model.

Uberthrall has a 770DX that was modded to an AANJ, but I don't think anybody knows who did it, he is the second or third owner.

Smitty,this is the 770DX Metalgod mentioned. FWIW this one came out
very well.

Closeup of the mod. The white area at the top isn't really there,it's just
camera flash or something. This guitar BTW plays really,really nicely.

y'know I could do a square to aanj conversion for ya but sorry - I would refuse to do that to a 20th....
just play it man, I still have a '92 (91)RG450 that every time I play it wins a place in my heart... and it dont even have the tilt heel... a big block but I played and gigged it for years and it never let me down...
all ya have to do is get used to the tilt heel...

I decided to either do a radical change to it (paint, heel, etc...) or sell it. Everyone wants to trade me RGs, but I simply can't sell it! and the reason I'm selling it is because I don't like RGs anymore!! But you say that you could do this?

As I've said to all others contemplating irreversible mods to their RG20ths - Yes, please, go ahead and do it. It just makes mine worth more. Why not grind the headstock down to a nub and convert it to a fixed bridge while you're at it?

I'll be out in the garage converting my PGM90th into a RBM Voyager clone...

Nah Smitty,it was done at the behest of the first owner. From what I was
told it was done by a luthier down in the Tampa area. Other than the fact
that the AANJ area wasn't refinished,it was done very,very well.

I honestly don't care that it's a 20th. I bought it because for a little while it seemed like a good idea, but now I really regret it. And it's really not that nice of a guitar. I think Ibanez could've done a much better job.
Anyone who wants to buy this... But this isn't a classified. I've decided that it's too much work to convert this guitar. Screw it.
