My 550MR

I bought this one a few months ago and have nothing but great things to say about it. I play it more than any other guitar I own (Even my FP Jem). Just an amazing set up, super low action and i love the feel of the neck. Probably the best neck i've ever felt. It's got some dings and nicks, but over all i would say it's about an 8.5/10. Not bad for almost 20 years old.
Some of the pictures it looks like a bad RFR but it's actually called Metallic Rose and i'll post a flash picture to help show it.

Thanks,
Aaron

Re: My 550MR

I got that off the bay for a little over 400.00$. It's the only one I have ever seen in this color which is one of the reasons i got it. I see blue/white/black all the time. NEVER see red, and never see this color. 550's FLOOD 3bay all the time. Sometimes they're cheap and poorly taken care of, some are super expensive for crap and every once in a while you run across something like this.

Re: My 550MR

amen

1989 Ibanez RG 550 (soulmate)
strange Blue one with white pickguard
bought off of **** a couple of years ago. a real beater
cleaned it up, replaced all electronics.
Dimarzio Tone Zone in bridge and Air Norton in neck
stock single coil in middle because it sounds great.
replaced worn trem with a new old stock original Edge.
re-dressed the frets. Best neck on any guitar I've ever owned.
have 2 Anniversary models (yellow in pic) and
RFR bought after pic was taken.
They don't hold a candle to this old dog.
I love this guitar more than my wife...

Re: My 550MR

I literally had a ton of 550's including an RFR and a DY among other 550's. I sold them all but this one. By FAR the best...even if it is pink.
