My '89 Desert Yellow RG550

Here is my RG550DY. It is beat to hell and back but I play at least six hours a day. For several years I was lucky enough to play every minute of every day. I love this guitar.

Got her when she was a few years old. I am wanting to change the pickup color to pink or green and possibly a pearloid pickguard?

Just curious, how do you like the maple fretboard as compared to a bound rosewood?

Thats about as beat as my 87 RFR rg550. gotta love it, mine is soo comfortable, I find myself playing it most.
