This is my latest purchase, a 1992 Ibanez RG760 in Jewel Blue. Its a cracking guitar all-round yet again from Ibanez. I have never played an RG7xx series before, only RG5xx series - but I think I can tell a difference. The RG7xx series is just slightly more "solid" if you know what I mean? The
sharktooth inlays and the binding are very cool.
It has a few dinks on the body, but thats just how I like em - played-in. It is also my first experience with the IBZ-USA pickups, and I am impressed. They are much better than the V series pickups anyway.
I need to change the strings asap, and it needs a bit more of a polish here and there. But I will get round to this at the weekend. I have a few DiMarzio's on the way (PAF Pro, ToneZone) from Pete (lhrocker) so I may change the
bridge humbucker yet I dont know.
I have gone off of trem equipped guitars to be honest, but this I just had to have for £250 w/hardcase. And Im glad I did, its a lovely guitar!
