My latest and first project for about 6 months, Will eventually become a Purple trans Tight flame finish, but for now i'm gonna strip it back and let the wood show for awhile until the right maple pops up :-)

Pics sorted once the finish is gone, Thought i'd let ya know i'm back modding again >:-)

Cool. I've thought about doing something like that, (or having it done, I'd be afraid I'd screw it up if I tried myself.) I have two dark blue 520QS's, and they're so dark you really can't see the wood unless you look pretty hard for it.

Indeedy, But it may be put on the back burner for a wee while, We shall see soonish, But i like the mahogany tone, so i'm keeping it for the time being, Just stripping the finish, The back looks fantastic, The top, Hmmm Not so sure yet lol
