Well, here's the pic pre-new pickups.
Still a great guitar and really can't believe changing the p-ups made this much of a difference. I'm not sure what kind of wood Ibanez used for LP copies at the time, but the sustain is insane now! Also had to switch out the
toggle switch plate as the rings underneath were cracked and causing bad switching between the p-ups.
Of course, after the Gibson/Ibanez lawsuit, Ibanez had to change some things around and ended up with the Performer series - This one is a PF200, but there were PF100's through PF400 with upgraded specs the higher the model you went, obviously.
This one is completely stock and still sounds great and is in great shape (just some surface cracks that don't show up in the pic). the back is contoured almost like a Strat and ithe back of the neck is painted in the same color as the body (not sure of the exact name of the color ...I call it Antique White).
