Re: NAMM 2012
There is no
NAMM
page yet
They had them in a black light room, just getting shots with the flash [the only way to get color] was a job in itself.

Nvm, I'm a dummy. I was looking at 2011
I'm still not used to 2012, it sounds like the future.

Most of those 14 are 12's and won't be in stock for awhile but a bunch are in stock, and paid customers waiting trumps NAMM report at the end of the day.
I'll work on it a little at a time as I have time ;(
18 Orders? I thought I was your one and only.
Can't wait. -cp

Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed by it also. But I guess it'll do well enough. I would want to fill it and put a string-thru on it like what come on the stock Glave.
When I saw it I realized it's a great guitar for him and fits his style more than the RG does.

Re: NAMM 2012
And that's better than the RG465 because... why?
No Edge, no thank you.

Re: NAMM 2012
It has an EZ II, the RG465's had Edge III's. Plus these will probably be available in the USm unlike the RG465.

Re: NAMM 2012
I was hoping for more Premiums, too. Was also hoping one would be a Prestige/MIJ. There still supposed to be an RG4XXV, though. Hopefully it's a Premium or Prestige.

There should be a Prestige but every MIJ guitar now costs an arm and a leg. I'm betting $900 is a magic number of sorts.

I would be willing to bet that those ARE Premium spec.

You mean the RG2s and RG3s that don't say premium on the headstock? or the RG4s?

Re: NAMM 2012
The RG2's and RG3's. No clue about the RG4's, but I speculate that they will also be Indo.
I've certainly been wrong, and often. But that's my guess.
I'm thinking that they're attempting to push those as a "reissue of sorts" for the RG565 and the RG550. Except you get a bonus pink 550 this time. And to make them more appealing to people who want the originals, they left the "premium" lable off of those.
The RG1's are Premium. Why would these have not come from the same place?

Re: NAMM 2012
Even if it's straight up Indo (non-Premium) I'll probably buy one.
Can you block off an EZ2? Does it even make sense to do so? Never thought about that.

Re: NAMM 2012
Thought the selling point of the EZ (and EZ2) was the ZPS, so you didn't have to block it? Or do you mean block it so there's basically no trem?
