Re: NEED help identifying guitar

Hmm.
Edge Pro tremolo.

1999 model RG570 I'd guess.

Re: NEED help identifying guitar

1999 RG 770 bk would be my guess. Sharktooth inlays and bound fret boards are usually found on 7xx series.

Re: NEED help identifying guitar

it looks indeed like an rg570. The sharkteeth are a bit different, but on ibanezregister, rg570MF (metal flake).looks to be the same, maybe just another color.

Re: NEED help identifying guitar

It looks just like an RG527R ltd, minus the reverse headstock. So, I'm going to make a guess that some kind of regional, or spot production model. Possibly RG527LTD? Taking the neck off and seeing if it's stamped is going to be your best hope of finding out exactly what model it is. --Jason

Looks like a stock 570ex to me.

Are you located in europe?

iirc, late '90s 770s had direct mount pickups.

Re: NEED help identifying guitar

looks like an original edge to me(look at the saddles) which would make it much older... say in the 7xx years?

Re: NEED help identifying guitar

the 99 is already given I think. It isn't a 570ex because the sharkteeth aren't those "disappearing" types. It could be a 570LTD, of 570DX I guess, but I've never heard of those.
