I'm pretty sure there were MII Ibanezzes in the 70s.
Where MII=Made in Italy, not Indonesia

so it could've been a European Ibby.
When I first saw the pic I immedately thought Joe Pass (ES175) but his Ibanez signature (JP20) was a single pup jazz box.

You appear to be missing a bridge; Gibsons like the ES175 have metal tune-o-matic bridges, but some Ibanez jazz boxes have ebony bridges, including the JP20 which also has an ebony tailpiece. The Ibanez tune-o-matic inspired bridge is the Gibraltar:

But they also use the Gotoh® GE103B, or there is Ibanez' current wooden bridge (Chinese) the Art-W.
