New 7 string advise!

I recently bought a rg7321 about 9 months ago, Now the more I play it(especially at band practice after a few hours) im having problems with my hand cramping up when doing some bar cord licks and such. So my question is, I have been looking at the ibanez ARZ307, does anyone own one and know if the neck is more round and thicker than the rg7321? Also has anyone else happen to run into this problem, Im wondering if it has something to do with the wide shoulders of the neck?

I find the 7321 neck unclmfortable too...

could be you are using your thumb too much?
I lightly touch my thumb on the back of the neck.
or what is your string gauge,it could be too high/tension?

I own an arz307. I would say the neck on it is actually a little beefier than the 7321. I will say that it's a great guitar. I bought one so I could tune to drop A. Needs some better pickups though.
