New collection shots

I just got the last guitar I'd been expecting from the latest GAS attack.,,,a 93
RG-570 w/EMGs. I've been waiting to have it get here so I could post some
more guitar porn.......so here they are.

Image Shack is acting squirrelly right now,I'll post a couple more pics when they get their act together. BTW excuse the chrome Pacifica....I probably should of hit it with some Neverdull before I took this shot...lol!!

I like what I see. The wifey doesn't understand the "need" for more than one guitar but I do =)

Mine doesn't either......in fact I waited until she left to bring em upstairs to take these pics. Didn't feel like fielding questions about why I have to have so many guitars.....lol!!

um, Why? The guitars he has can do what a strat does no problem, and then some.

Re: New collection shots

He'll never get that authentic 50's blues twang of a Texas Special in the neck position no matter how bad he wants. Say what you want about a Strat, but the RG and the Strat are further apart than you think!

That one's an RBM-1. As for not having a Strat.....I had a 75 Strat back in the day,it was the guitar I turned the corner on with...in regards to playing proficiency. Had it for 3 or 4 years. Having said all that, the whole Strat deal really isn't my thing....hasn't been for a long time. If I ever did want to get some Stratesque neck pup vibe,I'd be willing to bet I could replace the single coil in the neck position of the Voyager and get something that'd be in the ballpark.

Oh for sure. It's not like you need one if you don't want one right. I was just saying that an RG cannot substitute the tonal characteristics of a Strat. Granted they are similar in some respects, they are still, imo, worlds apart!

Lovely Collection mate!

I am digging the 550's!
