New Family Pics
Here are a few quick pics of my little seven stringed family.
First, here's the group shot:
Next up comes the new baby's solo pic:
Here's a quickie of the new Fractal rig:
And last, just to show you I'm an old school SS.orger, the rack comes complete flying the true colors:

I love the guitar, I like the pickups, I'm not crazy about the colors. I was thinking I'd pull them first off but the pickups themselves sound really good in it. The more I play it the more they're growing on me.

They do look unusual, but something about them is nice.
Which models are they?

Well I'm still in the honeymoon stage but honestly so far it's my favorite rig I've ever had. I've never had a super expensive boutique rig yet but I've had a couple of Vettas, a Randall MTS rig, a few Rectos, a couple Mark IV's, a Triaxis / 2:90 rig, a Triple XXX, Carvin, etc.

There's an Evo 7 in the bridge and a
Blaze neck
in the neck.

It wasn't for me. I got my first seven a few hours before a show and played it that night for the whole show. Sevens are more comfortable to me now. Sixes are hard to get used to.

I'm just strange I guess. I had other guitars to play that night and but I picked up the seven that night. As I played there were a few mistakes where I'd nail the low B especially when I was rocking out and reached for a open G but it just felt right.
I went back and forth for years owning both sixes and sevens and I could play a six all day long and pick up a seven and it just felt right. If I played a seven for even a few minutes and picked up a six it felt wrong. Like it was a toy or something. I realized a while back that I'm just designed to play sevens more.
