New for 2008!

Check out Ibanez Japan for new Ibanez S guitars, SVs, and an RG with a new Edge Zero trem!

I guess this is the new trem that's been hinted at by a few!

Re: New for 2008!

So I'm wondering how Ibanez justify the price difference between than white prestige ang the white RG300 series guitar. It seems to me that a pickup and trem upgrade on a 300 series would get you pretty much the same thing cheaper.

Sorry, just realised that there was a similar thread going on in the Prestige section, apologies for the double up.

There's a lot more than that. Wood quality/selection, fretwork, fit, finish, etc...

If you look at the nut, you will see it does not have a string retainer bar.

Re: New for 2008!

I'd put a black pickguard one that white, and I'd have a great guitar.

Wow I'm really excited about how well they're getting their act together. The new bridge looks damn cool. I really think that the best point of the ZR bridge was its ball bearing system though, which I am going to miss.

Why? Then you'd have messy wiring showing everywhere.
