I don't like it for other reasons...usually the guitar is neither custom or rare, but the seller still advertises it so which leads to quite off the mark prices.

I don't love or hate the "Custom Made" inlay
it's just, for me a signature for a high-quality instrument

(I have now a few (hem!) 540S or S540)

a little "plus", better than the endorsers signatures that are a witness of a lesser quality
(sorry, I don't know if "witness" can be used for a thing - in French : témoin)

I too have a 540s custom with the north hollywood neck plate.
LOVE IT.
It gives my strats and les pauls a run for the money.
Question.
the 5 way switch holder made of plastic brook because of use, cheap plastic.
the switch still function.
Does anyone know where i can buy the replacement part?

aaaargh ! for 2 days, I try to make decent pics but that's the best I could :

I didn't manage to render exactly the right cherry-sexy red this axe has, but it's very close !

she's really sexy, in a near mint condition dress.
I had to change the strings and set up the angle neck, but now : it's a little devil !

seems like I 'm falling in love with her !!! for the 2nd time and my 21st Ibanez !
(the first one is a RBM1 I even own)
