Well I finally finished my 540s fede swirl. Its been 18 months in the making and damn I just cant put her down! So here are some pics along with my other ladies.

Thanks for the kind words, the swirl reminds me of cosmic bowling for some reason. I put a paf joe in along with a dimarzio chopper in the middle and a fast track 1 in the neck position.

Nice! I still haven't been able to finish my Herc swirl custom (with a Herc-made PMC-type neck too). I just can't afford to get the body clearcoated at the moment, but that's pretty much all that needs to be done. *sighs* One day soon...

Thanks again for all the kind words, I will say Im pleasantly surprised by the sound Im getting from my pup config. I wasnt a big fan of the original pups and thats what started this projected. once I decided to change the pups then I figured what the hell. 2 years later its finally done and I want to say that outside of my 513 it has the nicest sound. I also forgot how thin of a neck it has. None the less Im very happy with the way it turned out.

Looks good, how did you do the fretboard vines?

BTW, the topic name is odd to me. In danish, "Fede swirl" means "Fat swirl", and 'Fede' does not mean anything in english.
