Re: New Guitar RG3EX1

Make that a green figured top, replace the EMG lookin things with Dimarzios or Duncans and make it prestige and that'd be how I'd want an Ibanez custom shop jobbie done. Maybe put a piezo in the bridge too

As it is though, I'dve probably opted for that over my RG321 and eventually stuck in some real EMGs.

the pups are okay, i might keep it stock for a while, then maybe just get some real EMG's.

Re: New Guitar RG3EX1

i've seen a few different models along these lines (must have come out from summer NAMM?) and was wondering if they are Korean or Chinese?
BTW - sweet top and nice looking neck! how is the neck? does it feel like a good Ibanez neck?
congrats!

Indonesian...guitar center exclusive models. I have seen a few 4EXs with an edge III around gc as well.

To the OP...maybe its just the pics but the neck looks dry and screaming for some oil.

Re: New Guitar RG3EX1

i've seen these on other sites - not just MF. MF might be exclusive on that color though. i really wonder about the quality of woods being indonesian - the electronics can be changed but the woods are soooo important. i have seen a few different models and i dig the trans blk versions but i think i might end up with an RGT42dxfx (fixed bridge, neck-thru). congrats though!
