I hated it! And i didn't think it was new either! I thought the pickups were horribly muddy and inarticulate. Maybe I just tried a bad one..

The neck is what grabbed me first - is the closest thing i have found to my Jem (which is an '89...i think). Tried it out through a POD, and sounded fanstastic, though I was wary that the porcessing could be doing lots to help there, but with the right neck and a cool colour...who cares if you have to change the pickups/whammy/whatever...

not that i probably will be...

Fair play to you, the neck was tasty. Didn't think EMG designed pup's could be that bad, especially with a luthite body (which is good enough for satch)

My first answer was Parker, then I realised that I'm in the "Other Ibanez Guitars" section and then I re-read you original post.
That's why I did the "Me=Dummy" thing.

Nice guitars and if you don't plan on abusing the trem, there's no need to change it.

The trem just takes soooooo long to bed down; and given the amount of abuse i normally give a trem - it is back out in no time....

That said this was bought withthe intention of sticking fat strings on, tuning down a step and chugging away to PG.....so no bar needed!!!
