New here!

Hi, I'm new to these boards. I'm an Ibanez owner (SCA220) and I was just wondering if there was any news of what new models will be coming out for winter namm 2004. I've been snooping around the jackson guitar message boards and they're coming out with Soloist string-thru's and a JS30 series of MIJ string-thru's. Is Ibanez going to release something in the RG series with TOM's or string-thru's to compete with Jackson this year? I ask because I'd really LOVE a prestige RG in a hardtail.

Thanks!

unfortunatly Ibanez doesn't have any hard tail prestige rg's for market in north america. But the SZ models are close to what you want (sans the pointyness and 24 frets)

As far as 2004, I doubt they will make what you want.

Thanks for the info guys!

Guess I'll be looking into the new Jacksons or just waiting and hoping for next year. We'll see if I can save my money that long. For some reason I can never hold onto it. I'm always buying something for guitar!

GAS is a painful thing Andy Martin said there would be a bunch of new toys at NAMM, so there should be confirmation on lots of new stuff late next week. So play all the Jacksons you can, but don't buy anything yet!

No problem. I don't plan on spending my money until the new NAMM stuff comes out. I just can't wait to see what's going to be released!

I hate to say it but I love GAS. BRING IT ON! lol
Thanks Jim!
