New metal flake 570 (with customization)

So bought this guy off of flea-bay as something to keep at my girlfriend's place for when I want to practice away from home. It is a 96' or 97' RG 570 in green metal flake finish. It came with everything but pots and pickups. I had an extra Tone Zone laying around so instead of putting the usual hum/single/hum combo in, I ordered a custom pickguard and loaded it with just the Tone Zone in the bridge. I also drilled the volume knob hole where the tone knob usually is so I wouldn't knock into it. It isn't quite done; I am waiting for the volume pot to come in, but here is the before and after so far.

Why go with a pick guard?

I have always loved Ibby's with pickguards; they just look so sexy. plus I am cheap and didn't want to have to buy 2 other pickups.

Just spent some time doing a little setup work on her; got the neck pretty straight with a little relief, got the action right where I want it, plays really well! Now I am just waiting to get her ready to plug in!

That was a really cool old 570. Sorry but my opinion is... FUBAR.

Prob so it would cover the routing from the old hum/single/hum.

Cheers if your happy with it, that's all that matters. personally i would've gone with a different pickguard color than white.
