Re: New pgm?

Saw Paul play it last night at the Bristol Satch/Gilbert gig,
He got a great sound out of it and it does look cool,
I'd love one, so i wish they'd hurry up and release them as at this rate it will be years before they start poping up on the second hand market!! (it's tough being broke! )

I like the PGM with single coils and old style neck joint.

Re: New pgm?

Oh MAN, I would love any one of those. My PGM 301 is one of my favs. The reverse Iceman would be cool for something different, but I would love the single coils ont the standard PGM as well.

i was there too. paul outdid satch in every department: tone, personality/stage presence, musical ability, technical ability...
as far as im concerned the running order was backwards!!!

i thought the reverseman looked a bit goofy in pictures but in person it looked pretty damn cool

Re: New pgm?

I have said it before and i'll repeat:
IF Ibanez was a lil smart, they should release the PGM302 model MIK, using the square heel oldstyle neck joint and H-S-S config.
Obviously CHEAPER than the 301 MIJ model.
It would sell TONS here in the 3rd world.

I think that would be a great idea!
I know I would buy it, and I'm in the UK. I definitely do not turn my nose up at the MIK Ibanez models!

Re: New pgm?

I didn't like that reversed Iceman, maybe Paul should put his PGM aside and study Photoshop a little bit.
But I did like the 3 angled single coils, very good perception on Hendrix gear.
Oh and he is back to the old neck joint, because it makes the tone a little ticker for the whole guitar !!!
