New S series guitars

Right guys, looking in the 'Nez UK site I see the S470 and the S470DX.

Looking at the spec, I see nothing different, at all, can someone tell me the difference between them?

Oh and one last question, are the PSND pickups anygood or should I rip 'em out and change them for DiMarzios?

At first I was going to say one has different fret markers bu then I actually looked....

Maybe it is because they have different types of finishes? Metallic vs. non......I dunno...

The powersound pickups aren't any good. Lousy sound, and lots of feedback.

as i can see on the ibanez site, the deluxe has an metallic finish instead of a "normal" finish and the dx has a neck binding - thats all.
it also seems like the inlays are different. both guitars have waves as inlays. but the normal version has white waves and the dx version has waves in different colours....
and yes....change the powersound pus.

THe inlays are different. In the 470 thay all have the same size, in the 470DX they decrease their size (wide) as you go up the neck. The binding is the other difference.

The powersound pups suck. The only decent Ibanez pups are the IBZ/USA Fs and C, the V7/V8, the HB2, and the SB1. But I would swap any of those for Di Marzios or Seymour Duncan anyway.
