What were the best years for these? I'm guessing anything from 87' to 93' was good? Or were there certain years that did better than others?

Sweet. Gotta love DY. A friend of mine back in the day bought one when he switched from bass to lead guitar in his band. He worked at a music store and got it at a really good price (this was NEW, mind you). I ran sound for his band when mine wasn't playing, and I always thought "DAMN that's a bright guitar!" when I was watching him play. That was one of the reasons I bought the RG20thDY, because I always thought that color was so cool. Then I sold it because I'm an idiot. But, I digress... Anyway, congrats on the lovely axe!
