NGD...89' RG-570...Maple board!!

Just got this one in yesterday in a trade. This is an RG-570 with a maple fretboard...really clean body. The fretboard has a bit of discoloration.....looks like someone really liked to hang out in between the 12th and 15th frets. This one's pretty scarce what with the maple board and all. It's in great shape too.....especially for a twenty year old instrument.

That's what I thought: it's not the original neck. Might have been swapped with a RG550.
Nevertheless, f*cking amazing!!! That's one sexy axe!

Take the neck out in the next string change to see the model numbers on both neck and body.

Actually, it's my understanding that they did produce 570's with maple boards in limited numbers. If I remember correctly they were shown in one of the catalogs from back in the day.
