I really think you should find matching f-holes. If you spent no more than 10 to 24 years searching for the perfect sample, you should be able to match it up so it looks like it's just painted on. A complete waste, of course, but then again unique.

Routes for the wiring to follow.

Hard Ash body, with inlaid F holes from Rosewood.
