NGD...Extremely Rare & Dangerous RG765/565 Proto

I just snapped this up on off Craigs list Philadelphia...was only listed for 3 hours....under the heading "early 90s' Ibanez RG"

I can't even tell you how cheap I got this for fear of a riot...pretty chipped up, and the unfortunate locking nut cracks, but a steal at the price paid...sounds great, might be a candidate for a refinish.

Anyone who knows Ibanez knows the rarity of these RG's, the only two people I know with them are Doink and Ko...

enjoy...

Saw the add, you stole that damn thing! If it had been the DY one I woulda bought it, even though I'm supposed to be cutting back on guitars.

Congrats!

Awesome stuff, love the the H-S RGs. Wish Ibanez would listen to us and make them again. Maple fretboard ones especially.

Fantastic. I think this is an absolute classic regardless of its rarity.

Glad to see it go home with a jemsiter.

I dunno...doesn't feel like a 565 without the mapleneck. If there was an actual released 765, I'd think it'd have the same neck as a 770.
