Re: NGD! Got my 540R "Blueburst"
Thanks guys! Linux how did you direct post my pic? I tried to load it to my attachments but the file was to big.
I'll tell ya' if you didn't know it, you'd never believe that this guitar was 20yrs. old. There was a good amount of fogging between the pup's, but I used a good automotive swirl/fog remover and I couldn't believe the results. I can still go over that area again, but I was rushing to get pics of it.
There is a very small chip at the neck pocket and a scratch by the tone knob, but no belt rash at all! I sanded the neck as there was poly coat on it that was terrible, and then applied a oil finish. At best, this guitar looks like its a few yrs old.
It plays typically nice, with a decent low action. But I like my action silly low and to get that it will need a fret crown/level. The edge stays in tune very well, after I went and read Rich Harris' instructions about how to properly set it up.
A big THANKS to Rich Harris for all of the free info on his page! It really helped me with my set-up.
Thanks again for all your comments guys!
