NGD!! Ibanez Destroyer

I had this guitar once before 4 years ago (totally stock), and sold it to finance another purchase. Been regretting it for about a year now, so when I got the chance for one of these (with $200 in Duncans installed, no less) I jumped for it. These are made in Japan and are really quite fantastic. Very glad to get one again. Tomorrow I'll get it all cleaned up and restrung, but for now pics!!

Re: NGD!! Ibanez Destroyer

The Duncans are JB/59 by the way...we'll see how I like 'em. If I don't dig them I'll pull em out for an air norton / x2n combo or perhaps some EMGs, as I don't have any EMG-hum equipped guitars yet. Pup suggestions are of course welcomed, I play progressive metal and classic rock primarily

I'm sure you'll like that combo.. JB for the heaviness and 59 for the sweetness. Top guitar, great price.. a win all around! Enjoy.

Re: NGD!! Ibanez Destroyer

That's a Destroyer II, isn't it? And as others have said, that is a classic pickup combo, I can't see you not liking the tones and versatility.
Excellent score, and at that price I would have knocked you over to take your place in line Congrats!

Re: NGD!! Ibanez Destroyer

Well this sucks. I've been gassing really bad for a Destroyer lately, and now you go and shove one in my face.

Sounds like you got a good deal on a really awesome guitar.
