Re: NGD: Ibanez RG350M YE

Is the neck-humbucker ment to tilt downwards, so that it's deeper in the scratchplate at the end of the neck, than next to the middle, single-coil?

It's tilting downwards, as said, and it can't be straightened up, so I think it's ment to be like that, but... It seems kinda weird, actually :-)

It's sitting on, or being pulled by, its own cable. Easy enough to fix but not a massive problem to leave it that way.

I'm loving my 350M :

Re: NGD: Ibanez RG350M YE

OK, so I can loosen the scratchplate, move the cable, and then I set it back, and in the end, it's better set-up, and straight, instead of tilt-backwards?

Btw, thx, m8 :-)

Yup, that should do it.

Looks great man! Love the colour! Is this your only Ibanez guitar or do you have others?

Thx, Brianxtr, BenoA and IbanezDaemon :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I have one more, the Ibanez RG350DX, the one with white sharktooth inlays and black hardware. And, woooohops, pearloid pickguard ;-)

I think it's GAS. Two guitars in almost less than a month ;-)

How's that Edge III trem? I hated mine.

I love yellow guitars.

Especially MarkE's....nice mods!

I would gladly have binned mine when I got the guitar but once I found and adjusted both of the little tension screws on the back of the arm socket it works fine.

It doesn't have the same feeling of weight, smoothness and quality as the original Edge in my RG520 but it holds its tuning despite some serious abuse. Time will tell how well the knife edges and posts last out.

+1 here... It's not the Edge7 in my RG7620 but it does the job quite fine. I tuned the guitar only once since I got mine.

Only time will tell and anyway, my Edge7 does sometime pisses me off!!!

My trusty 350 hasn't had to be tuned in months, IIIs are fine.

They really seem to be hit and miss. I've owned 3 Edge III's. None of them lasted the test of time. I actually only own two now, as the last one I bought in 2007, managed to do something like this --

Lasted about a year with '11 gauge strings tuned to Eb.
