Title says all.
Found this for $300 bucks on the local Sam Ash used rack. For the money considering the shape its in being a fujigen 2000 made S with an original edge, cosmo hardware and the bubinga striped super wizard neck mated to a mahogany body I think I did good. Appears to be all original factory configuration. V1/V2 pickups etc.... Frets have minimal wear, body had a few bumps/bruises along the way but nothing major. Overall its hardly been played and probably cased most its life. Speaking of it did come with an extremely nice condition hardshell case. I just had to have this and I'm not really an S guy. It was just too nice to pass on and the price was reasonable. For 300 USD these days you find mostly moderately to heavily used Indo or Korean S and RGs usually in my area. Not Japanese ones and when you do they are asking considerably more.

Curious, it was just marked Ibanez S guitar on Sam Ashes hangtag. I looked at the 2000 catalog posted online, didn't see this one exactly. Could it have been a late 99 model or early 01 model? The closest I found was the S520WNF but thats got the wavy inlays. This ones just standard dots. A transition model of some kind possibly? It is still an S520 right? Doesn't really matter honestly. Just wanted to clarify for my curiosity.
Whatever it was called, its really nice and I'm glad I jumped on it. Feels good to post a NGD post again. It's been way too long. Thanks for the read.
Cheers
J
