Interesting. How does the Lo Pro compare to the Edge for you?

You can put in 43mm locking nuts if you want, they are interchangeable (Kristian Niemann does it). As far as I know, Gotoh only ever produced 45mm locking nuts for this model, so they are kind of hard to get your hands on. Don't even know if they made them in Cosmo (I doubt it).

I recorded another a little improvisation last saturday. First take, full of mistakes, etc, but I'm happy with it

. Couldn't have done it as well on my old guitar. No wonder this is becoming your main axe

I love the feel of the edge classic and there's no problem with it as long as I wear a tshirt!! This time of the year is real cold, so long sleeve shirts are on. And my right shirt sleeve likes the thrilling tremolo more than me. It does not happen with the Lo pro edge.
Fashion matters.

PS: I won't care for the black nut. It's part of the (BIG) deal that it's a 45mm one

that's plausible, there are lots of people looking for a 540P. who doesn't care about this is Ibanez.

Anyway what I love most on the 540pII is its neck by now. And maybe, this could help Ibanez to think of a reissue as a good idea. Maybe...

Hi!

Got a 540PII in magenta, which I really like. A little beat-up but sounds pretty good through its stock pup's.

Thanks! The picture doesn't really show the real color. It's a little bit more purple:ish in real life.

Hmmm... I think the one you were chasing was red, no? This one hasn't been on any salesboard as far as I know. Anyway, thanks and a trade.... well, for a Maxxas or a 77BFP - yes

Otherwise - no, I really like it and the color is kind of rare.

Tip for HH wiring: It is very easy to rewire the guitar so that the middle position becomes either of these combinations:

Neck Single
Neck Single + Bridge Hum
Neck Single + Bridge Single
Bridge Single
Neck Hum + Bring Single

I'm currently running the first, Neck Single + Bridge Hum, and it sounds really good compared to Neck Hum + Bridge Hum. As I say, it is very easy to do, so tell me if you want instructions

I like the 540 PII model too, and i would like this model in seven string.

I'm sure that a lot of people search this model in six and seven strings.

I will try to convince Kurt from "Rondo music" to made an 540 PII model but he need to know how many people are interresting by this model.
